Why 2 lbs of weight loss per week is too fast & here’s 6 reasons why!

This is what you need to know👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

For 99% of my clients, 2 lbs a week is just too FAST (and simply unrealistic) and let me tell you why I don’t encourage my clients to make this a goal 📉

Here’s what happens when you drop into a calorie deficit that is too aggressive:

1. Your metabolism down-regulates faster (aka your metabolism slows down faster, which can make it harder to lose weight)

2. Your biofeedback tanks faster (sleep, recovery, and energy levels will not be happy = you are miserable & everyone around you is miserable too because you feel so awful all the time)

3. You will have to make bigger sacrifices and trade-offs right away (moderation becomes instantly harder when we try to get too aggressive)

4. Your likelihood of maintaining your weight loss is lower (the slower you lose weight, the more likely you are to actually maintain your weight loss!!)

5. Your hunger will SPIKE faster (your body is gonna be screaming for more calories and while some hunger is absolutely expected, we don’t want big hunger right away)

6. The adherence will be harder (the more you are suffering physically, the harder it is to actually stick to your deficit, so you’re way more likely to say “fck this diet” and grab the Oreos!)

So what does this mean for you?

You could absolutely be down 10-15 lbs in 15 weeks!!! 👙
>>> This could still get you down 1-2 sizes smaller and feeling WAY better in your skin.

Wouldn’t you rather do it slower and enjoy the process versus trying to get extreme results that take extreme demands?
