Why does being healthy seem so hard?

I have some thoughts on this viral reel going around the internet right now: THIS ONE.

I've had at least 3 clients repost this to their stories, it's been shared by over 200k people and I even had a client DM this video directly after finishing my Get Consistent Challenge to tell me “I love that you’re trying to change that mindset. Your challenge really was the anti-thesis of it!” (cue me, nearly in tears, because bringing women hope is the fuel that keeps me going)

So why does this reel have so many of us reeling?? (hehe, pun intended!!)

Because we're tired.

  • Tired women who are sick and tired of being told that if we just tried a little harder to figure it out, then we'd be able to spend every day in perfect balance.

  • Tired women who are exhausted by how many people tell us if we just wanted it more, we'd get it and it'd feel easy

  • Tired women who are so ready to scream every single time we see someone write out the phrase “we all have the same 24 hours” (it's not really true, Susan!!!!)

  • Tired women who are literally doing the best we can to not drown in the life around us that is seriously giving us a run for our money (not that we have much money these days cause DANGGGG inflation, amiright??)

So here's what I want to give you permission to do: LESS.

And here's the truth (you know this already, but I'll say it anyway): it will take some effort.

But it doesn't have to be nearly as complicated as it seems on the internet.

You have my permission to take any piece of advice you find and downgrade it by 70% before attempting to implement it.

And guess what? Even if you did that: you'd feel so much better.

This is GREAT news.

It takes so much less effort than you think to feel better in your skin, more in control of your life, and less miserable waking up ever morning.

It does take more than zero effort... But it doesn't require perfection. (Cause girl, ain't nobody got time to be perfect)

And here's what I spent three days teaching (preaching?!) on last week in the Get Consistent Challenge: where you put that effort is up to YOU.

And you cannot be wrong.

And no one on the internet can tell you what will make the biggest difference. Only you know that cause only you have the manual of you. (clients, you get it… hello IEK framework!!)

The final piece of amazing news I want to give you:

if you give something a try and it doesn't work: that's still amazing information.

You now know what isn't worth it for YOU. And now you can take that 30% effort you do have to give and try something else.

Life is one big experiment.

You can't be wrong. You can't fail.

You just do little tests forever… until you figure out what works for you and then you do that until it doesn't work anymore.

So the TLDR:

  • You're doing amazing, sweetie.

  • It's gonna take way less effort than you think to feel better

  • You are in charge of where you put your effort

  • You can't be wrong when you pick where to put it

  • Whether it works at first or doesn't, you are learning more about YOU and that's helpful information

  • You are worthy of the time it takes to figure out what works for you!

If you want to take control of your health & start getting consistent on your own terms without any mom-shame or guilt about what you can or can’t do right now…

I urge you to sign up for the Get Consistent Challenge

Inside you’ll learn why getting consistent takes so much LESS energy than you think… and how getting consistent on autopilot is more possible for YOU than you think :)
