The #1 predictor of fat loss success is this: staying in a calorie deficit.

As an online nutrition coach, I see so many women (heck, I’ve been guilty of it myself before) cutting out the foods that bring them the most emotional satisfaction which puts their diet experience in a pressure cooker.

After depriving ourselves for long enough… we’re going to combust and because of the scarcity mindset, you are so much more likely to overdo it once you do exposure yourself to a “forbidden food” for the first time after restriction.

And THIS is why leaning into mindful emotional eating could be the key to your success 👏🏼 (and where macro counting can be so powerful!)

Instead of removing foods from your diet… simply just include them in smaller portions, but more regularly!! (like, Monday through Friday… not just the weekends when you feel like you’ve “earned a splurge”)
